Cheers A,A and A

I'm pretty sure the bird is a 'swift' but anyhow , rather similar birds. Correct me if I'm wrong.

As you can tell by the weather it was taken in summer in Wales , check the bending trees.

Stood on the toilet seat and took pics through the skylight. The birds were flying into the wind so were easier to photograph.

Toenails - got me thinking of Lady Gaga there with her add-on claws, come to think of it , a similar face [ albeit without lipstick etc], somewhat rodenta.

HHope the housing situation has improved , otherwise you'll have to occupy Wall St. or somewhere

Beautiful selection of photos. The ivied stone building is gorgeously composed. Actually, upon second look around, almost every one there is beautifully composed. Have you checked into the work of Trey Ratcliff? If you are a camera buff you might enjoy his work.

Just google his name or "Stuck in Customs" and prepare to be visually awed and, if you are interested, edderkated because Trey is very generous with his knowledge.

Agreeing with A13, the swallow/swift image set my soul awake. These lovely birds have disappeared from where I live and I miss them dearly.

What is most pleasant is thinking of what joy you had being "out and about" with your cam and grabbing these gems.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Noor -

Defo composition is better than camera technique, still learning to use all the buttons and switches.

Digi-cams allow one to take a lot of shots without fear of using up all the film. Have a couple more of birds in flight.

Both fotos u noted were taken within a mile of Wylfa Nuclear Power Sta. Ravens and buzzards around aswell.

Ta for the link to Trey Ratcliffe.
