  4. Hi Fez, I would do ANYTHING for a cold Christmas :) It's bloody hot here this time of year and a chilly/ cold/ white christmas just doesn't happen.
I did go to the Netherlands about 10 years ago for a white christmas, and that was special.
    Cheers A

  11. Dobra means Good...
I got that much for sure
    Vanoce Is it christmas

My hubbies side hails from that neck of the woods
I can recall both his grandma's using the word Dobra

    One was Baba
    One was Grandma
Of course Baba had a Dido?
If I am spelling that correctly.

Though my wishes are late to you, I do hope however you chose to celebrate you enjoyed it all
Happy New Year to you also

    Dobra Vanoce = Good Christmas

Baba is short for Babička = Grandma

    while

Dediček = Grandpa, but its probably shortened to Děda

Those mallards were on Anglesey, but they do seem to appear everywhere

    all the best

    cheers

  17. Chers Pen, A13 and Alex.

Alex - got them all photocopied to A3, which gives them another dimension [ well obviously]. Often its just point and shoot as the enviro does all the work.

Get your best 13 and make your own calendar. Dunno how much it costs over in NZ but wasn't to bad here.

    cheers all
